Our Team of Experts ski the planet to bring informative and fun
stories to you.

for the
Maine Sunday Telegram
(Maine’s largest paper), where she also contributes feature travel
stories during the winter season. Heather's travel articles are
regularly featured in newspapers and magazines including The Providence Journal,
The
Lowell Sun, The Daily Item, N Magazine and New England Ski Journal.
Additionally her work is regularly featured on several on-line travel
sites, including

Association (NATJA), the North American Snowsports
Journalists Association (NASJA), and the Eastern Ski Writers
Association (ESWA). In 2005, Heather was honored with an esteemed
Harold Hirsch Award for "Excellence in Journalism".
Our Photographer,
Greg Burke is a nationally recognized, professional photographer with over twenty
years of photojournalism experience. His images have been picked up
nationwide by the Associated Press (AP) wire service, and featured in
newspapers and magazines across the United States and Canada. Greg’s
digital photography is published on numerous travel websites. Greg
also started skiing at the ripe age of 3, taught skiing for the Egan
Zimmerman Ski School, was a ski bum at Snowbird and worked as a Ski
Industry Professional for 14 years. He is a
fully credentialed photojournalist member of both Eastern Ski Writers
Association (ESWA) and North American Snowsports Journalist
Association (NASJA).
Our panel of additional skiing critics:
Aspen Holly, her name says it all. Holly’s favorite season is the
white one and she started skiing at the ripe age of 2. Glades are her
passion, and she is also obsessed with the latest ski fashion. Her
favorite ski area, one guess...
Ian Douglas enjoys personally researching ski resorts by exploring
every trail from every peak. On mountain food is also considered a top
priority. Douglas loves bump runs, and also looks for resorts with
après ski activities – pools, climbing walls, ice skating, sledding or
tubing hills – he’s the guy with boundless energy and a keen eye for
quality – the most tireless skiing critic we have encountered. Started
skiing: Age 1! His favorite resort - Stowe, favorite trail – The Goat.
Brian Russell weighs in with our boarder perspective. This is
the guy that invented the “grateful shred.” Brian is a PSIA Level 3
Certified Snowboard Instructor and a member of AASI (American
Association of Snowboard Instructors). He has taught snowboarding at
Squaw Valley, Northstar and Diamond Peak in California. In New
England, he has instructed at Gunstock in New Hampshire and Smuggler’s
Notch, Vermont.
Brian’s views are close to the snow, since he arcs the most low down
carves - a sight to behold. He lends his thinking beanie cap on parks
and pipes that are worth your airtime.
