Luxury Ski TripsOur Team of Experts ski the planet to bring informative and fun stories to you.

Our award-winning journalist, Heather R. Burke, has been writing about skiing for over a decade. She learned to turn at age 3, and taught skiing professionally during her college days at the University of Vermont. Heather's travel articles are regularly featured on Boston.com and LuxurySkiTrips.com, in newspapers  and magazines including The Ski Journal, The Sun, The Daily Item, and Maine Magazine. Heather is accredited by NATJA and NASJA, and Eastern Ski Writers Association. Heather has received three esteemed Harold Hirsch Honors for "Excellence in Journalism".

Our Photographer, Greg Burke is a nationally recognized, professional photographer with over twenty years of photojournalism experience. His images have been published nationwide by the Associated Press (AP), and featured in newspapers and magazines across the United States and Canada. Greg’s photos are on numerous travel websites including LuxurySkiTrips.com. Greg started skiing at the ripe age of 3, taught skiing for the Egan Zimmerman Ski School, was a ski bum at Snowbird and worked as a Ski Industry Professional for 14 years. He is a fully credentialed photojournalist member of both ESWA and NASJA.

Our panel of additional skiing critics:

Aspen Holly Burke...
her name says it all. Aspen’s best season is snowy, she started skiing at the ripe age of 2. Glades and freestyle skiing are her passion, and she is also obsessed with the latest ski fashion and reviewing the most recent ski movies. Her favorite ski area, one guess... Aspen. Favorite après ski food: fondue! Aspen is currently a Fashion Major at University of Rhode Island.

Ian Burke enjoys personally researching ski resorts by exploring every trail from every peak. Ian
was captain of his Alpine ski team, and now attends MSU and ski instructs at Big Sky. Good ski area food is among his top priorities. Ian loves bump runs, and also looks for resorts with après ski activities – pools, climbing walls, zip lines, sledding or tubing hills – he’s the guy with boundless energy and a keen eye for quality – the most tireless skiing critic we have encountered. Started skiing: Age 1! His favorite resort for years was Stowe, and favorite trail – The Goat. Favorite après ski food: burger and fries! But most likely skiing of the Tram at Big Sky is his current favorite activity.
